SESSION GUIDE- SUNSET

WHAT IS IN THIS GUIDE…

This guide is here to help you feel prepared for our session, so that the day of the session you feel relaxed and comfortable.

You’ll find some simple tips on what to wear, and what to expect on the day.

I hope you find it helpful!

WHAT SHOULD YOU WEAR?

These sessions are about you, and your clothing should reflect who you are and what your characters are like. Im here to capture the essence of your family, and the most important thing is that you all feel comfortable in what you are wearing.

TRY

  • Solid colours, simple patterns, and earthy tones. These photograph beautifully.

  • Textures and layers add warmth, depth, and movement to your images, so feel free to play with those.

AVOID

  • anything you’ll need to fuss with or

    constantly adjust during the session.

  • clothes with words, slogans, or logos — they can be distracting.

  • Smart watches - Just take them off before the shoot

  • Mobile phones and keys in pockets

Remember, Coordinating your colours and styles is great,

but there’s no need to be too matchy-matchy—

everyone doesn’t have to wear the same colour:)

Remember, these images are timeless, so choose outfits that you’ll

love looking back on for years to come.

Sunset session are scheduled 60-90 mins before sunset, when the light is soft and golden.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY…

JUST A HEADS UP!

I won’t ask you to smile or look at the camera often.

My focus is on capturing those unposed, genuine moments.

Kids are free to explore, play, and enjoy their favourite games, letting those real, joyful moments shine through naturally.

Don’t worry if they get a bit dirty or start mucking about—it’s all part of the experience!

Once the kids have had their fun, we’ll capture those sweet, cuddly moments.

Note: I’ll be guiding you all throughout the entire

session so that we get those authentic moments captured.

Quick Tip: It’s best to leave snacks

or toys out of the session, as they can be

distracting. Before the session feed the kids and do a quick face wipe:)

AFTER YOUR SESSION

Within 14 days of our session, you’ll receive an email with a link to your online gallery.

From there, you can browse through and select your favourite images based on the package you’ve chosen. Once you’ve made your selection, you'll be able to download them directly.
